She shrugs as she steps back from the machine, settling herself on the
couch and smiling in hope that he will join her. It is rather racy, she
thinks, to be able to sit so close to one another when not at a party or
without a chaperone. "They are more like the theatre, though I've
discovered that some leave me feeling much like the play we went to see."
